The Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as reported in Sahih Muslim hadith #2202:

Uthman b. Abu al-‘As Al-Thaqafi reported that he made a complaint of pain to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) that he felt in his body at the time he had become Muslim. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: Place your hand at the place where you feel pain in your body and say Bismillah (in the name of Allah) three times and seven times A’udhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhiru (I seek refuge with Allah and with His Power from the evil that I find and that I fear).

In another hadith narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her)

that when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to a sick person or a sick person was brought to him, he would say:

“Adhhib al-ba’s Rabb an-naas, wa’shfi anta al-Shaafi, laa shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka shifaa’an laa yughaadir saqaman”

(Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5351, Muslim, 2191.

Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the judgment will come to pass.

Rabbi awzi’nī an asykura ni’matikal-latī an’amta ‘alayya wa ‘ala wālidayya wa an a’mala salihan tardhāhu wa adkhilnī birahmatika fī ‘ibādikas-soliheen

My Lord, inspire me to (always) be thankful for the blessings You have granted me and my parents, and to do good deeds that please You; admit me by Your grace into the ranks of Your righteous servants

(Surah An-Naml, 27:19)
