Unless rule
عزيزيز القارئ نقلا عن موقع ef نعرض لكم Unless rule ، تُساوي unless في المعنى if…not. كما هو الحال مع if، يأتي بَعد unless زمن مضارع بسيط أو ماضي بسيط أو ماضي تام (ولكن لا يأتي بعدها زمن شرطي أبدًا). تَحِل unless مَحَل if…not في جميع جُمَل الشرط. لا يتم تغيير ترتيب الجملة عند استخدام unless.
حالة الشرط الأولى: Unless + مضارع البسيط

تُستخدم كلمة “حتى” في سياق الوقت وتعني تقريبًا قبل ذلك الوقت وحتى ذلك الحين.
The word until is used in the context of time and roughly means before and up to the time.

unless
كلمة ما لم يتم استخدامها في سياق شرط مسبق وتعني إذا لم يتم استيفاء هذا الشرط.
The word unless is used in the context of a precondition and means if this condition is not met.
For example
- I will not shoot that squirrel unless someone puts a gun to my head.
- Peter will not go to the picnic unless his dog is allowed to accompany him.
